It has been an amazing week full of discussion about the VMS deposits of Norway studied within the framewor of Valentine Blumstein’s PhD thesis. From geodynamics of the Caledonides to the Indium content of some samples, the formation of VMS more of less reworked by high temperature metamorphism and deformation, the discussions were very fruitful.
We even had time to visit a deposit located close to Montpellier, and did manage to get a little sun during this rainy week ! (Photo from left to right, Hanne Paulsen, Lison Moynier, Deta Gasser and Valentine Blumstein).
